We finally made it to Texas where we met up with the Bornkamps and the Merrymans.
Our trip in the new motorhome was very different than our 5th wheel. We are still getting used to all the bells and whistles and there are many. John and Gordon up on the roof installing our Solar that we really missed on our travels. The Bornkamps took us to Pepes on the River, a bar and restaurant that caters to the Texan Snowbirds they have great music in the afternoon and tends to be a very busy place to hang out. The Dixon’s came out to see us and we celebrated Johns Birthday (54th). The weather has been pretty warm. Now that John has the solar installed now we can do some sightseeing.
