Lunch in Baltimore
We had one of the best seafood lunches we have ever had. Marylanders take their crabs very seriously. In fact calling ahead to check on size is encouraged. We had the large crabs and they were cooked to perfection with lots of old bay. We ordered the sampler for two as you can see we had a feast fit for royalty. Just in case you can't tell we had lobster tails, shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels and scallops- and then to wash it all down with and ICE Cold pitcher of our favorite beer Yuengling. This restaurant is off the beaten path very small seats about 12 on the first floor, second floor has about 4 tables, and there is roof top seating. The service was the best they were very patient with our never ending questions. One bit of information I did come away with is the male crab is the best eating crab-

HERSHEY PAMy kinda world- Chocolate World
We took a tour of Hershey it was informative and a lot of fun. Mr. Hershey built the town to accommodate his factory workers. He built houses for his executives, he ran a boys orphanage, but, one of the most interesting facts about Mr Hershey is that he and is wife went to London to go on a cruise a new ship called the Titanic- well a few days before the ship was to set sail Mr Hershey got an emergency message from the factory that he was needed home right away and had to cancel his cruise aboard the TITANIC-
These were our tour guides reenacting out stories from Mr Hershey's life. Very corny but so much fun..... After our trolley tour we went back into Chocolate World for our next adventure tasting chocolate. Oh yeah for 90 minutes we were given the history of chocolates and tasted all different chocolates from milk chocolate to the darkest chocolates. By the time we were finished and I hate to admit it, but, I didn't want to see chocolate for a few hours, But, I am back to normal now :)
Just another exciting day in our FABULOUS LIFE!!!!

Tour of Fair Oaks Dairy
Fair Oaks, Indiana

Fair Oaks Dairy is one of the largest in the United States. This particular dairy uses holstien cows the milk has less fat than other types of cows. Milk leaves the dairy in tankers and will go as far south as Florida. Once the milk reaches its destination, the milk is then pasteurized.
This is a milking table the cows get on the platform and the platform holds 72 cows and will take 8 minutes to complete the process. Each cow is milked 3 times a day and each cow will produce 9-10 gallons of milk a day. There are 2800 cows at this dairy. Do the math- Thats a lot of milk!!
This is inside the birthing barn this momma is in labor we waited 2 hours for her to deliver!!
There were complications and the the calf had to be pulled out. Straps were tied to the calf hoofs and was pulled out it - it took the strength of both the vet and his assistant to accomplish this.
Its a 90 pound boy !!!
Momma and bull are resting and doing fine. This was quite the adventure for a city gal!!!
